We would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data in the context of the Sealing Conference.
You have the possibility to inform yourself about the event schedule, the content-related lecture topics, the event location as well as further event details on a page programmed especially for the event without your personal data being processed.
If you want to participate in the Sealing Conference, you must register for the event. You will also get the option to book your hotel using the link on our microsite. In this case the following personal data will be processed:
First name, last name, e-mail, country, organization, department, job title
- a) Your personal data will be processed for logistical planning, in particular creation of the admission ticket and name badge, room planning, planning of catering, evening event, planning of transport and planning of accommodation before and during the event. The options you select will be confirmed to you by email. In a multi-stage mailing, you will receive information about the event, lecture topics, the evening event as well as hotels and transport right up to the event.
- b) Furthermore, personal data may be used to evaluate contact opportunities after the Sealing Conference has taken place in order to contact you regarding commercial opportunities.
- c) During the event, we will also make film, audio and photo recordings to document the event. The recordings may be published on our intranet, internet, social media channels as well as in radio, TV and print media (including books).
The legal basis for the processing of your data is found in Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.
- a) The processing of your personal data is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Germany GmbH and outweighs your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms, as you can generally use the website without providing personal data. Only for voluntary participation at the Sealing Conference and for the use of personalized functions, your personal data must be collected. It is in our primary interest to be able to plan and organize the event. All of the above-mentioned data is only necessary for the organization of your participation at the Sealing Conference. Furthermore, the personal data processed are reduced in their scope to a necessary minimum and do not encroach upon the private sensitive area, they are rather directed towards the business area.
- b) Furthermore, it is in our legitimate economic interest to offer our services and products to potentially interested customers and to contact them for this purpose. The collected data is necessary to be able to assign the potential customer to a regionally and technically responsible customer consultant.
- c) The documentation of the event is also in our legitimate interest, in order to be able to provide employees, customers and other interested persons with access to (technical) presentations, also afterwards. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, you can contact the photographer or cameraman directly.
The personal data will not be used for any other purposes beyond those stated above and - with the exception of film, audio and photo recordings - will be deleted after the end of the event.
